A mystery bidder has paid more than $40,000 for a lock of Justin Bieber's hair on eBay.
The 17-year-old singer saved some of his famous hair after a re-style and gave it to chat show host Ellen DeGeneres in a signed box.
She put it on the Internet auction site to raise cash for animal rescue group The Gentle Barn Foundation, and bidding closed at $40,668 (£24,911).
The winner will also be invited onto DeGeneres' show to meet the kid himself.
