2 Fall Coat Trends To stock Up Now

Alright, Slaves to Fashion, you might not have been crazy about that poncho idea, but something's gotta keep you warm in fall, right? We've got a couple more trendy bundling options to think about: rust colored coats, and tweed blazers. Like those ponchos, we've been seeing them everywhere this Fashion Week— but rest assured they're a bit more tailored.

I've been wearing my camel coat everywhere, and while I consider it nothing short of an Absolute And Total Lifesaver, I've gotta admit there's something about the warmer, punchier rust hue of this fall's hottest coat that makes me and my paler camel coat green with envy:
Jill Stuart's version pretty excellently showcases how well the the warmer-than--your-usual-camel color meshes with other bright colors, no?
At Max Azria, the deeper color added an elegant touch to a more masculine cut.
While at DKNY, the rust coats were swung over the models' shoulders, like stray boyfriends had lent them their coats to protect them from the chill. I think it worked— these looks are red hot (alright, done with the color puns, promise!)

And the other keep-warm option I'm totally coveting? The tweed blazer, like this one at Rachel Roy, which is giving my plain black fall blazer the same sort of envy my camel coat has:
